Elektrolüüsi aparaat annab kütust tasuta |
Eestis kulub igal aastal autokütusele umbes 10 miljardit eurot, mis teeb 7500 eurot iga inimese kohta (rinnalapsest raugani). „See raha läheb naftašeikide taskusse. Milleks me neile seda kümnist maksame, kui nutika planeerimise abil saaksime kõik oma sõidud tehtud kodumaal toodetud energiaga?” püstitas Jarmo Tuisk küsimuse. Kuna paukgaas ja vesinik lastakse mootorisse gaasina siis esimese asjana on vaja teistsuguseid pihusteid, millega oleks võimalik gaasi pihustada. Tavalised kütusele mõeldud pihustid selleks ei sobi. Lisaks on vaja eraldi paaki, kus paukgaasi või vesinikku hoida. Üks oluline komponent on ka kütuseelement millega veeldatud vesinikust saaks gaas. Samas ei tohi unustada korralikku doseerimissüsteemi, läbi mille gaas jõuab pihustiteni. Doseerimissüsteem on vajalik mootori korralikuks tööks, liiga väikese gaasi kogusega ei tööta mootor korralikult ning liiga suure kogusega võib mootorit kahjustada. Selle kütuse puhul on probleemiks kütuse saamine ja hoiustamine. Paukgaasi saab toota erineval moel, kuid veest elektrolüüsi teel tootmisega oleks seda võimalik teha ka sõidukis vesinikgeneraatori abil. Elektrolüüs on elektrivooluga toimuv keemiline protsess [11], kus antud juhul lõhustatakse vee molekul kaheks osaks vesinikuks ja üheks osaks hapnikuks. Sellega saaks toota vajaliku gaasi ka koguaeg masina töötades, selleks on vaja paigaldada masinale vesinikgeneraator. See protsess aga nõuab palju energiat ning mootori tööks ainult paukgaasiga oleks vaja väga suurt vesinikgeneraatorit. BMW on maailmas üks autotootjatest, kes on valmis ehitanud vesinikul töötava kolbmootoriga auto. Selle tarbeks ehitas BMW ühe oma sisepõlemis kolbmootori põhjalikult ümber, et seda saaks kasutada vesinik kütusega. BMW vesinik kolbmootoriga auto on näha joonisel 2.3 [12]. Auto põhineb BMW traditsioonilisel bensiinimootoriga BMW 7. seeria (E65) sõidukitel ja täpsemalt 760Li. Kuna paukgaasi ei ole vaja mootori töös hoidmiseks, selleks et põletada efektiivsemalt fossiilseid kütuseid ning vähendada kahjulike ühendite keskkonda sattumist. Sel juhul piisab sellest, kui paukgaasi toodetakse sõidukis asuva vesinikgeneraatoriga. Paukgaas juhitakse mootorisse läbi õhuvõtu süsteemi. Ühendus, kust paukgaas õhuvõtu süsteemi juhitakse asub tavaliselt õhufiltri ja kollektori vahelisel ühendusel. Sealt kaudu jõuab paukgaas tänu mootori tekitatud hõrendusele koos mootori tööks vajaliku õhuga silindritesse. Vesiniku lisakütusena kasutamise skeem on näha joonisel 2.4.
